For your home
Describe it once. We do the rest.
Photo, voice note or a sentence. Fixara reads the job, prices it, and sends a screened professional — within 90 minutes, day or night. That is a defined service commitment on eligible Express bookings inside a live zone, in a covered category and during covered hours; miss it and we waive the speed fee for that booking.
Verified professionals · Fixed upfront price · Pay when it's done.
The intake
Three ways to tell us what's wrong.
Whichever is easiest while you're standing in front of the problem.
Photo
Snap what's broken. Our AI reads the image and identifies the trade and the scope.
Voice
Record it in your own words, in Dutch or English.
Text
Type one line. "Kitchen tap dripping." That's enough.
You don't need to know whether it's a plumber or a handyman. That's our job.
Step by step
From "it's broken" to "it's fixed", in five steps.
01
Describe it
Photo, video, voice or text. One step, no account interrogation, no twenty-question form about the make and model of your boiler.
02
See the diagnosis and the price
The AI names the trade, describes the job and returns a fixed price. If it isn't confident, it says so rather than guessing at your expense.
03
Choose your speed
Standard for the same day, Express for the 90-minute arrival commitment, Priority for emergencies. The speed fee is shown separately from the job price, both including VAT. The arrival commitment, the zone it applies in, the covered hours and the remedy if we miss it — the speed fee is waived — are all shown on this screen before you confirm.
04
See who's coming
The moment a professional accepts, you see their Radius Passport — name, photo, trade and the checks they passed — and their arrival time.

Payment
One company invoices you. One company answers for the job.
Fixara is the merchant of record
We invoice you, we handle the 21% VAT, and we settle the professional afterwards. Your contract is with Fixara, not with whoever happened to turn up.
Extra materials outside the original scope are invoiced separately and itemised, never folded silently into a bigger number.
Pay when it's done
No deposit, no cash at the door, no Tikkie. Payment goes through the platform after the work is finished, and your invoice arrives by email.
Because the money and the record sit with Fixara, a complaint is ours to resolve rather than yours to chase.

Categories open zone by zone from January 2027 — a category is only offered where we can actually staff it. Some work is deliberately out of scope: anything requiring a permit, gas work, and jobs at height. If it is not on this list, we will tell you rather than send someone unqualified.
Coverage
Five cities, zone by zone.
We launch in January 2027 in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Den Haag, Utrecht and Eindhoven. Each city opens defined zones and a defined set of categories, not the whole city at once — that is how the 90-minute commitment stays true while we scale.
A new zone or category opens only after four consecutive weeks at 90% or better on arrival times and 95% or better on fill. Leave your postcode and we'll tell you the moment we reach your street.
Questions
Everything else you might want to know.
What does a plumber cost in Amsterdam?
On Fixara you see one fixed price for the job before you confirm it, including 21% VAT. It depends on the work. Larger work such as a bathroom renovation is quoted per hour, and we say which is which rather than dressing an hourly job up as a fixed one.
On top of the job price sits a speed fee: €49 Standard, €79 Express, €99 Priority. There is no call-out fee, so a professional turning up and looking at the problem does not cost you anything on its own.
Two things are worth knowing when you compare. The first is VAT: most of this market quotes ex-VAT, and 21% is a large number to discover at the end. Every figure on this site includes it. The second is the hourly meter: a rate per hour tells you nothing about the bill until the work is over. Where Fixara can price a job as a job, it does.
How do I avoid being overcharged by a trades platform?
Three questions will tell you most of what you need to know about any platform in this market, including this one.
Is the price fixed and shown before you confirm, including VAT? If the answer is a rate per hour, an estimate, or "the professional will quote on site", the price is not really a price. On Fixara the job price and the speed fee are both shown before you confirm, both including 21% VAT, with no call-out fee.
Is your request being sold as a lead? Ask any platform what happens to your details after you press send, and whether more than one company will be calling you. Fixara does not resell your request — one professional accepts a job that is already priced, and your details are not passed to companies you did not choose.
Who actually invoices you? If the invoice comes from an individual or a company you have never heard of, your complaint route goes there too. Fixara is the merchant of record: we invoice you, we handle the VAT, we settle the professional, and a complaint is ours to resolve.
Do I need to know which trade I need?
No, and that is deliberate. Sending a photo, a voice note or a single line of text is enough. The AI identifies the trade and the scope of the work from what you sent.
This is the part of booking a tradesperson that most often goes wrong: people call the wrong trade, pay for a visit that ends in "you need someone else", and start again two days later. Describing the problem rather than diagnosing it removes that step.
When do I pay?
After the work is done, through the platform. No deposit, no cash at the door, no Tikkie. Fixara invoices you, handles the 21% VAT and settles the professional afterwards. The invoice arrives by email.
Can I book at night or at the weekend?
Evening and weekend cover is part of the launch in every opening zone, and that is the point of the speed tiers — a burst pipe at two in the morning is exactly the case Priority exists for. The covered hours for your zone are shown at checkout, and the 90-minute commitment applies within them. Overnight coverage deepens as the network grows, and we would rather say that than promise a roster we have not staffed yet.
At the busiest times and overnight the speed fee can be higher, because that is when the fewest professionals are online. You always see the figure before you confirm, and you can choose Standard instead if the job can wait until the morning.
What is a Radius Passport?
It is the record of the screening every Fixara professional passes before they can take a job: identity, legal right to work in the Netherlands, VOG (certificate of conduct), background check, credentials and licences, and an assessment of hard and soft skills.
The screening is run by Radius Hire. The passport is shown to you inside the booking before the professional arrives — name, photo, trade, checks passed — so you know who is coming into your home before you open the door.
Which areas do you cover?
Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Den Haag, Utrecht and Eindhoven, from January 2027. Each city opens defined zones and a defined set of categories rather than switching on a whole city with nobody available in it.
Zones expand on evidence, not ambition: a new zone or category opens only after four consecutive weeks at 90% or better on arrival times and 95% or better on fill in the operation next to it. Leave your email and postcode on the waitlist and we'll tell you when we reach you. One email, when it's your turn.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Bookings are managed in the app. Because you pay after the work is done rather than upfront, cancelling before a professional has travelled to you is straightforward.
The exact cancellation terms — including what happens if you cancel after a professional is already on the way — are published in the Terms rather than summarised loosely here, because they are contractual.
Be first in line.
We launch in January 2027 in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Den Haag, Utrecht and Eindhoven — opening defined zones in each city rather than a whole city at once. Leave your email and we'll tell you the moment your zone opens.
